Our annual House League Scramble Weekend continues to grow...
Our Scramble keeps getting bigger and bigger.. what does this mean?
It means our league is growing.
I means our senior girls are committed to mentoring our littles.
It means the sport is growing, and the girls are building their legacy together.
It means it's time for you to come and JOIN US !
Our Scramble takes players from all divisions of House League and mixes them on to evenly matched teams to play in a fun showcase. This year had four teams with nearly 19 skaters on each. Our local Sault College Cougars Women's hockey team coached, refereed, DJ'd and kept time. From Timbits all the way up to U18 our players came together and played some very close games. You couldn't help but grin watching Timbits take faceoffs and getting fed a beauty pass right in front of the other teams net.
We added a JR and SR skills completion, a coaches v coaches game, pizza and some friendship bracelet making to round out a very fun weekend for all of the girls.
We already can't wait to do it again next season ! Thank you to all who had their hand in making the weekend a sucessful one.
