Debbie Sims Memorial Stickers
In loving memory of our dear friend Debbie Sims, Sault Female Hockey Association is selling LadyBug helmet stickers to all players, coaches, and the general public for $5 each. To purchase a sticker and show your support, please reach out to SFHA at [email protected]. A table will also be set up for the stickers at the Northern Community Centre on the upcoming Saturdays.

Debbie joined the SFHA board two years before her passing, but her journey with us began long before that as the dedicated manager of her granddaughter Lily’s team. She committed countless hours to our association, spending time at the rink and making a lasting impact on everyone she met.
Debbie had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel special—whether you spent just a few moments with her or knew her for years, she left a lasting mark on your heart. Her kindness, generosity, and friendship touched the lives of so many, and she became a cherished presence in our community.
These LadyBug stickers are a tribute to Debbies memory and love for the SFHA community. 100% of the proceeds from the stickers will be donated to ARCH, our local palliative care centre, and will be available at the NOWHL tournament, which has been renamed the Debbie Sims Memorial NOWHL Tournament. This is our way of continuing Debbie’s legacy of kindness and support while giving back to a cause that was close to her heart.
Ladybugs are often seen as symbols of love and joy, representing the happiness and warmth that someone brings into the lives of others. Seeing these LadyBug stickers on our girls' helmets will remind us of the love Debbie shared with her family and our community, and the joy she spread wherever she went. Her spirit lives on through these symbols, and we wear them as a tribute to the happiness and care she brought to everyone around her.
