Important Notice: Facial Protector Certification Requirements
An important notice from Hockey Canada.

Hockey Canada reminds all players, parents, and coaches that after-market tints or face protectors with tints are not CSA-certified and void the certification of helmets and facial protectors from manufacturers like Bauer, CCM, and Warrior.

As per Hockey Canada Rule 3.6(b):

  • All players must wear CSA-certified helmets and facial protectors that are securely attached and unaltered.
  •  Using tinted products or altering certified equipment violates this rule.
