SFHA Role Changes, Exits and Vacancies
The Sault Female Hockey Association welcomes our new board members, thanks our outgoing members, and announces an upcoming board vacancy now open for application

We begin by expressing our sincere gratitude to Gabe Stefanizzi, our Treasurer of many years. Thank you for the time, care, and dedication you put into ensuring our association remained on solid ground. Your countless hours of service are greatly appreciated.

A heartfelt thank you as well to Jennifer Neison, who served as Secretary and board member for an extended period of time. Your organization, support, and willingness to go above and beyond your role did not go unnoticed.

We also want to recognize Chantal Rilley, who now moves into the role of Past President. Your unwavering passion for supporting girls in sport within our community is truly inspiring. We look forward to your continued guidance in this new capacity.

Looking ahead, we’re pleased to welcome Steve Facey as our new Treasurer and Jamie Curran as our new Secretary. We’re excited to have you both join the board.

We also extend our congratulations to Kimberly Sharpe, who has been appointed as our new VP of House League. Over the 2024–2025 season, Kim dedicated countless hours to improving our association in her role as Director at Large – Assistant to VP of House League and WildCats. We’re excited to see the impact she will make in her new role this season.

With Kim stepping into her new position, her previous role—Director at Large: Assistant to VP of House League and WildCats—is now vacant. SFHA will be accepting applications for this position until Monday, June 23rd. We encourage all members to view the outline of this role within our constitution

Instructions for applications for this position can be found here
